Christine Chin Ryan

Christine Chin Ryan embodies the roles of a business owner, consultant, and community activist. Her commitment to various spheres is evident through her extensive involvement.

As the Founder and President of Synergy Consulting, Inc., Executive Director of the Asian and Pacific Islander Community Coalition of Oregon (APICCO), Chair of the City of Portland Police Bureau APIA Advisory Council, and Board Director for the Philippine American Chamber of Commerce of Oregon (PACCO), she actively contributes to her profession, advocacy, and activism.

Additionally, she holds crucial positions on the National Organization for Women (NOW) such as a Board Member, NOW PAC Board Member, and NOW Audit Committee Chair. Christine's dedication extends to her role as the Executive Vice Chair of the Democratic National Committee (DNC) Small Business Council, a Council Member for Small Business for America's Future (SBAF), active participation in the City of Portland Small Business Minority Evaluator Program, and as the APICCO representative for Portland General Electric Community Benefits and Impacts Advisory Group (CBIAG).

As a business owner for 35 years and in addition to her current service on the PACCO Board and SBAF, she served on the City of Portland Utility Oversight Blue Ribbon Commission as Vice Chair, Prosper Portland Council on Economic and Racial Equity (CERE), City of Portland Economic Recovery Task Force (formerly Economic Impact & Intervention Task Force during the COVID pandemic), I-5 Rose Quarter Improvement Project DBE/OJT Community Oversight Advisory Committee, Small Business Majority Network Council, Oregon Small Business for Responsible Leadership (OSBRL) as Chair, Oregon Governor’s Small Business Council as Chair, Organizer for the White House Business Council Asian-Americans and Pacific Islanders Business Roundtable. Her diverse engagement showcases her passion for making a positive impact in multiple arenas.
